Here in the Netherlands Halloween is not as big celebrated as in England or America but it’s coming over and getting more populair every year. I was invited by my roommate to go to a great party in the center of Amsterdam. The theme of this year was SBS666 which is the Dutch version of FOX, quite a funny theme for a party. So I went as a mascotte of a Dutch brand: Conimex, which sells Indonesian food, spices and snacks (due of the kolonial history). A lot of people said to me before that I looked like her so I went as the dead version of that girl hence the freaky make-up. My boyfriend went as Alex from clockwork orange and my roommate and friend went as dead geishas :) They borrowed my yukata, lot of fun!

Funny thing was, someone went as the logo itself! The logo itself is a completely black stylized girl with a red Dress and a big piece of wood to smash herbs.  It was really funny to see each other at the party like that :D

I also saw a great version of Carice van Houten, a Dutch actress who playes Melisandre in Game of Thrones. She went as the “giving birth” scene. Loved the originality!

Other favorite was a guy dressing up as Freddy Mercury in ‘I want to be Free’, Annie de Rooij (Dutch character), Haribo candy wraps, a baby who was freaky as hell, and 2 guys as the Dutch metropolitan and national museum. So so coool!
